Digitalised beachwear: An innovative project between MarediModa and Style3D Assyst

On the occasion of Milano Unica (9-11 July 2024), beachwear textile collections will also be showcased to digitally thanks to the generative power of AI+3D. Style3D Assyst will introduce the most innovative 3D digital ecosystem for the fashion industry, with end-to-end solutions for digital fashion, in support of creativity and collaboration. This system allows manufacturers, suppliers and retailers of apparel and textiles to create and produce successful fashion items and promote them immediately on any sales or marketing platform.

Physical fabrics become digital and true to reality with extreme precision thanks to the use of a fabric scanner and an integrated tool set detecting textures, visual effects as well as mechanical features. Fabrics may be presented digitally and a 3D garment rendering is immediately available. Customers may view a digital collection and choose fabrics not yet in stock promoting waste reduction, overproduction and consequently sustainability of processes. Always in real time it is possible to make changes to digital fabrics, colours, repeat and dimensions, visual effects and to enhance creativity.

A group of MarediModa companies, exhibiting at Milano Unica, have enthusiastically joined this project by supplying S/S fabrics 2026 which will be shown both in a traditional way on the stands and digitally by the STYLE3D Assyst point (Pad . 3 IN08) close to the MarediModa Milan area. This is a very special service offered to customers who may have at their disposal  some “talking fabrics” turned into finished product to be used both in sales and advanced marketing.

“We are very pleased to renew our collaboration with Mare di Moda after our participation in the last edition of Cannes trade show. We are convinced that digitalisation must necessarily include fabrics and accessories, as an essential step in the development process of a collection.

Our software applications and devices for scanning and measuring the fall and elongation of fabric samples allow to transform a physical swatch into a digital product fully true to reality. Digital fabrics in Style3D Fabric can be freely modified, for example by changing pattern proportions, colours and texture features before entering the simulation of the 3D garment.

At Milano Unica we will also get our MixMatch, a very important tool based on an innovative concept of 3D combinations and looks completely in live simulation; this is essential for the fashion system downstream processing of the workflow. MixMatch is actually a non-technical and user friendly application, intended for merchandisers, sales networks, showrooms and boutique managers.

Our collaboration proposal aims at presenting the future of the digitalization, in which 3D and AI integrate synergistically to generate absolutely surprising results”.
