The Link 2025: the jury announces the contest semifinalists
128 projects from 37 countries — a historic record for The Link, one of the world’s first talent-scouting contests designed to support and promote young designers from the top European schools.
The competition has always encouraged students to explore beyond traditional boundaries, challenging them to express themselves freely in the worlds of beachwear, lingerie, and athleisure, giving full rein to pure creativity.
Over the years, The Link has discovered young talents who have gone on to work in prestigious design offices or launch their own brands.
The technical jury carefully reviewed each project in detail and selected the twelve most deserving to move on to the next stage, which will determine the finalists who will be invited to Cannes, where they will each have a personal stand and runway show.
Now, the selected students will be tasked with creating a prototype, which will be evaluated by a second technical jury.
