SPW Fabrics – Latest product innovations at MarediModa Cannes

At Cannes, SPW Fabrics will present its 2028 swimwear collection, featuring solids and prints, with more than 120 new print designs.

Four new colour cards join the existing range:

  • Sioux – the company’s flagship swimwear fabric, available in 50 colours.
  • Santa – its most exclusive structure, available in 12 colours.
  • Solstice – high-shine and matte qualities, each in 12 colours, designed for more sophisticated pieces.
  • Malaya – the lining, available in 25 colours and designed to work alongside every other card.

Shades are shared across the different cards, allowing a full garment to be developed in one tone across different qualities.

Vertical production and flexibility

The collection is built on vertical production: SPW Fabrics knits, dyes, prints and finishes in house. This integrated approach makes it possible to adapt every order in terms of quantity, colour and finish, from the first sample through to large production runs.

Sustainability and innovation

The main development this season is Eden, a versatile 150 g/m² swimwear fabric and SPW Fabrics’ first bio-based polyamide, developed to reduce dependence on petroleum.

The company also offers a wide range of GRS-certified recycled polyamide and polyester, together with dope-dyed blacks such as Sioux and Bogota, which significantly reduce the water and energy required during production.

All products are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, while the company’s quality management system is ISO 9001 certified.
