Penn Solutions: new fabrics, endless possibilities
Penn Solutions presents at Mare di Moda a new range of proposals combining creativity and functionality, with extensive possibilities for customization.
The Engineered jacquards combine three-dimensional structures and different types of perforations within the same fabric, enhancing the design while creating areas with breathability and support functions. The two-tone versions broaden the creative possibilities by combining colour contrasts, relief effects and transparencies. Customization also extends to stretch lace-effect fabrics, where glossy details, three-dimensional structures and mesh openings of different sizes add depth to the design through subtle plays of light and shadow. Customized developments are also available and can be created using recycled yarns, further expanding the design possibilities according to each customer’s specific requirements.
Among the new developments, cotton meshes interpret comfort through an exceptionally soft hand feel and an open structure that promotes breathability. Pleasant against the skin, they gently wrap the body and follow its movements, combining the natural feel of cotton with the aesthetic appeal of transparency. These proposals enhance the relationship between texture, fit and everyday comfort.
Designed for the needs of swimwear, the solid fabrics with LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™ combine an exceptionally soft hand feel with a compact and opaque structure. Their multidirectional 4-way stretch ensures a close, comfortable fit and freedom of movement, while the possibility of using raw-cut construction helps reduce seams and create clean, essential finishes.
The solid fabric range also includes lighter-weight options, always characterized by an extremely soft and pleasant touch, designed for lightweight and comfortable garments. Alongside the more essential surfaces, the collection also features versions with bright and luminous effects, enhancing colour and giving the fabric a more refined and distinctive appearance.
The offering is completed by a wide selection of tulles and meshes, available in different weights and compositions, with dedicated colour cards: versatile bases for further customization through printing, foiling, flocking and other finishing techniques.
