FLASH! The fabrics take the stage

Now in its fifth year, FLASH!, the project conceived and organised by MarediModa to bring fabrics to life through contemporary storytelling, takes centre stage and brings the collections to the catwalk.

The project was launched in 2022 to create a modern visual language for the fabric collections presented by MarediModa exhibitors. For the companies taking part, and with the support of ISGMD Design Academy, a mini collection of garments is created using fabrics selected by the participants, designed to showcase the bestsellers presented at the fair.

A contemporary photo and video shoot captures the spirit of the project, with the resulting content made available to participants for modern and effective communication and promotion.

The concept is then brought to life at the fair through a dedicated exhibition and, starting this year, through the CANNES FASHION SHOW (Oct. 28th 3.30 p.m. @ MarediModa Cannes) — a dedicated catwalk presenting the prototypes and highlighting not only their design, but above all the innovative fabrics used to create them.
